San Clemente, CA--Moving quickly to meet its goal of increased high-touch dealer support, Sonance has appointed Craig Childs to the position of West Coast general manager, and Jim Knight as Midwest general manager.

The second of four new territory general managers, Childs will be responsible for all sales activity for the Sonance and Architectural Audio brands.

Childs comes to Sonance from A/V cable manufacturer Tributaries, where he was western regional sales manager. In his new capacity, he will work directly with dealers, sales representatives and distributors in all the western states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Nevada, Hawaii, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.

Sonance also welcomed 20-year industry sales veteran Jim Knight as its new Mid-west general manager.

Knight's territory will extend from Michigan to Colorado where he will be responsible for sales activity, and work with dealers, sales representatives and distributors.
