PMA Reports Early Findings Of Its Reseller Survey

By RS Staff, September 30, 2008

Menlo Park, CA--Pacific Media Associates is in the process of gathering data for its annual North American Reseller Survey. Among the initial results is the indication that the number of HDTVs and front projectors connected to Media Center PCs could triple from 2005 to 2007. This has big implications for both the kind of products that will be demanded and the kind of expertise that will be needed by installers in the very near future.

Other early results indicate that buyers are willing to spend more for a 42-inch LCD HDTV than for a 42-inch plasma HDTV. The 2006 North American Reseller Survey data collection continues through the fall.
