September 30, 2008

Tom Stimson speaks to the attendees of the Orlando Roadhow, held at Techni-Lux offices on February 20th, 2008.
Attended by over 100 industry professionals, the Rental & Staging Systems magazine/InfoComm International Roadshow held in Orlando February 20th was a success. Held at the Technilux offices in Orlando, the Roadshow was a chance for rental and staging professionals in the Orlando and central Florida area to get technical and product training, and business planning/and management seminars-all in an intimate setting at the facilities of one of the country's most prominent stage/theatrical lighting distributors.
Primary Sponsors for the Roadshow were Barco, and Immediate Connections.

Tom Stimson taught classes for the business track, delving deep into issues such as "The One Trend That Really Matters", and "The R&S Business Survival Kit", a look at some of the best practices and biggest mistakes of AV Rental & Stagers.

As a special edition to the Tech Track, Tony Hansen of Technilux presented two seminars: "LED Lighting-Myths and Uses" and "Moving Lights 101".
The Roadshow also featured manufacturer training from Barco, Christie Digital, and Sharp.

Exhibitors at the Roadshow included, in addition to the Sponsors:

AV for Sale
AV Stumpfl

Harman Pro Group
Immediate Connections, Inc.
