Indianapolis, IN -- CEDIA is offering an early-bird discount on the back-to-back Boot Camp events to be held at its Training Facility in Indianapolis the week of February 9–14.

The week will begin with CEDIA University’s Electronic Systems Technician (EST) Basic Residential Boot Camp and will conclude with the EST Advanced Residential Boot Camp. Attendees who register for the Basic event by January 26 or the Advanced session by January 29 will save $100 on registration.

The Basic Boot Camp offering February 9–11 is intended for those new to the industry or as a refresher for those with a few years’ experience. Topics include cables, connectors and termination as well as codes and standards, jobsite safety and speaker installation. Details are available at www.cedia.org/education/bootcamp_est.php.

The Advanced Boot Camp offering February 12–14 trains attendees on the tasks typically assigned to a lead electronic systems technician. Topics covered include audio and video signals and components, loudspeaker design and measurement, video calibration and speaker setup and 5.1 calibration.
