Leon Speakers Enhances Horizon and Profile Series

July 16, 2009

Leon Speakers, a manufacturer of custom-built, audiophile-grade loudspeakers for flat-panel displays and living-space theaters, has enhanced its Horizon and Profile Series four-inch product lines to include upgraded drivers and shallower cabinets.

Horizon 414 and Profile 404 Series speakers now feature four-inch Peerless HDS woofers for more power and increased performance. The new speakers offer a depth of just 3.25 inches to complement the thinner profile of today's flat-panel displays. Maintaining their price of just $1,495 for a high-fidelity multichannel speaker or stereo pair, these Horizon and Profile Series speakers enable customers to enjoy Leon Speakers' custom audio solutions without paying more for the enhanced level of performance.

"Across the line, all new Horizon and Profile Series four-inch speakers will include our reference-grade drivers for increased power handling, setting a new standard for high-fidelity audio in modern living-space theaters," said Noah Kaplan, president of Leon Speakers. "As we've grown as a company, we've been able to work more efficiently with our suppliers. This has allowed us to give back to our customers by increasing quality without increasing prices."

The Horizon and Profile 4-inch speakers can also be upgraded to "A" models, which include Morel MDT-12 tweeters, or "X-A" models, which feature dual drivers per channel and Morel MDT-29 tweeters. Build-to-order options for the Leon Speakers Horizon and Profile Series include the ability to match any width, height, or color specification with multiple configurations for the soundbar solution available (L/C/R, L/R, or center-channel only)

Horizon 414 and Profile 404 Series speakers start at $1,495 for an L/C/R combination or L/R pair; Detail 114 surround speakers start at $895/pair; and Vault 114i in-wall speakers start at $995/pair.
