Hitachi, Electrograph Ink Distribution Agreement

San Diego, CA -- The Home Electronics Division of Hitachi America has signed an exclusive distributor agreement with Electrograph Systems, for its professional line of plasma monitors and front projectors. Electrograph has the sole right to distribute Hitachi professional products in the United States, including its full line of 16:9 EDTV and HDTV plasma monitors, which currently includes 55-, 50- and 42-inch models. The product line is designed to meet the display needs of corporate environments and digital signage applications.

Under this agreement, Electrograph will also become the exclusive Eastern region distributor for Hitachi's consumer electronics products, including plasma televisions, LCD and CRT rear-projection televisions and DVD products.

"Electrograph is a key player in Hitachi's product distribution plan for the United States, and our exclusive distributor agreement will ensure the highest levels of quality control," said Rick Stans, senior vice president of sales for Hitachi America's Home Electronics Division. "We look forward to a successful partnership that expands the visibility of our professional and consumer product categories nationwide."

Electrograph's distribution of Hitachi's professional products will be nationwide, and the consumer electronics products distribution rights include the eastern states of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, West Virginia, Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
