October 9, 2009

Digital Delivery Group announced the opening of a new distribution center and showroom in New Orleans by WAVE Electronics Inc., its regional member for Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.

The new location is WAVE's sixth, and like All WAVE branches, the facility will showcase the company's 120-plus audio, video, security, and installation brands to area customers with convenient and efficient ordering and will-call services.

"We are increasingly impressed with WAVE's continued growth in an otherwise slow economy," Digital Delivery Group executive director, David Kaplan, said. "I think it important to note that their growth is not just fueled by expansion, as their current locations are also experiencing sales increases. By opening in New Orleans now, WAVE will be well positioned for further growth as the economy rebounds."

"By keeping our business focused on service to our core customers, the independent custom integrators, WAVE has continued to grow despite the general economic pessimism," WAVE president, Gary Wermuth, added. "By creatively promoting our showrooms and distribution centers, product training, and dealer support services we have created a business model that enhances our customers' own sales capabilities. This expansion is a reflection of the success of both WAVE's and DDG's business models and their joint commitment to true customer service."

As with all of WAVE's distribution centers, the New Orleans location offers unrivaled customer service, a fully stocked 6,000 square foot warehouse, showrooms for dealers to use as their own, end-user financing, dealer training, and more.

WAVE Electronics' New Orleans distribution center is located at 509A South Al Davis Rd., New Orleans, LA 70123. 504.731.2922
