Atlanta, GA -- Waveguide Consulting, an Atlanta-based AV, data/telecom and acoustical consulting firm, has opened a new satellite office in Research Triangle Park, NC. Keith Portnoy, CTS-D, RCDD, PE has been promoted to director of North Carolina operations and will manage the new office. In related news, Scott McLain, CTS, PE joined Waveguide in April and will become part of Waveguide's growing North Carolina team. McLain was previously an Associate at Atlanta-based engineering firm, Newcomb & Boyd.

In addition to the office expansion, Waveguide has added six new employees in recent months to bring its total staff size up to twenty-two.
