SnapAV has introduced a series of compact-sized baluns for applications that distribute digital video and audio over Cat-5 cable.

The durable, low profile metal case (measures less than 1-inch tall) of the AniWareBox (pronounced “anywhere”) makes it easily adaptable to in-wall, on-wall, and rack-mount installations, according to the company. To blend with home décor, each includes a white and light-almond single-gang decora wall plate and insert.

The AniWareBox is available in single and multiple component video/HD audio (or analog audio) variations (including kits). Each is capable of sending high-definition signals up to 350 feet without signal degradation, and under certain conditions as far as 500 feet. The AniWareBox baluns do not require a power supply.
