OmniMount Expands Internationally

By RS Staff, July 13, 2010

OmniMount, a global manufacturer of consumer and professional A/V mounting and furniture solutions, has launched new product lines and hired a rep firm, World Marketing Associates, to expand its professional products division across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

OmniMount recently launched several new product lines targeted specifically to the professional markets, including hospitality, medical, education, and large venue. Comprehensive marketing support for the focused product lines include a completely redesigned and newly launched commercial website, along with a slew of other sales tools, all available on OmniMount’s Dealer Resource Center. With all those pieces in place, the logical progression was to hire a rep force dedicated to increasing distribution of the brand in the EMEA.

Led by Francis Williams and Julian Young, World Marketing Associates is responsible for setting up a distributor network across Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. “Francis and Julian have a stellar reputation within the professional industry and relationships throughout the EMEA,” stated Alex Robertson, OmniMount’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “We’re confident that this partnership will contribute significantly to our commercial business in the EMEA market.”

Last month at InfoComm International, OmniMount launched several new professional product categories, including enclosed A/V racking and digital signage floor carts, in addition to new projector mounts and surface mounts.

“OmniMount is a strong brand in our market, known for high quality products that offer innovative features,” said Francis Williams, principal of World Marketing Associates. “The opportunity to introduce this brand to the professional market is a win-win for all of us because there’s a need for those inventive commercial-grade products like the new offerings in their portfolio.”
