JVC Professional Products, a division of JVC U.S.A., has named Bill Birdsall national sales manager for home theater and entertainment, Visual Systems Division.

Birdsall has been with JVC for more than 26 years. He spent 22 years serving the professional video industry, providing sales support for major broadcast and cable networks. For the past four years, he has worked with home theater products, most recently as eastern regional manager.

“With the expanding choices of high-definition content and the growing potential of 4K projectors and 3D, the home theater market is more exciting than ever,” Birdsall said. “I look forward to working with our chief accounts and major distributors to keep JVC’s D-ILA projectors at the forefront of the home theater market.”
Birdsall will be based out of the company’s Wayne, New Jersey, offices.
