By RS Staff, August 10, 2010

OmniMount recently added a new projector mount with the stability and security of a professional grade projector mount but without the industrial look.

The universal legs of the HDPJTMA make it adjustable to fit any projector up to 50 pounds (22.7 kg), and everything needed for the install comes inside the box, including the ceiling plate.

The gear-driven three-axis micro adjustment allows for precise post installation adjustment, the company says. The mount includes a PFCA pipe coupler to easily attach the mount to a ceiling drop. Detailed instructions, complete with images to guide the install, are always included. Security is also important when installing expensive projectors in commercial applications and the HDPJTMA features hex pin anti-theft security screws and installers can add a padlock as an additional precaution.

“This product is another example of our design team hearing the needs of the market and designing products that make the integrators job easier,” stated Hal Truax, the director of the commercial division for OmniMount. “In addition, we’ve just developed a series of short-throw projector mounting solutions with some unique features that are designed to complement the HDPJTMA — we anticipate seeing these solutions in the education industries in the coming months.”
