 dpi highlight cine 260

Ram Ragulan came to the custom integration channel 14 years ago after trading technology on Wall Street. With a focus on sales and marketing, fine tuning projectors and Crestron programming, his firm the Astrum Group, has been a Digital Projection dealer for seven years.

How do you rate the Cine 260?
I would rate it nine out of 10. We have tried a lot of products. I just installed this projector in Boston with a 150-inch, 2.35 wide screen. The contrast and the picture quality are excellent.

For what types of installations is it best suited?
We mostly use this projector for dedicated home theaters with very little ambient light. We have scheduled an installation of this projector in a dance floor with DJ system at another client next month.

What is one feature of the Cine 260 that stands out in your projects?
I think it is price performance. We are glad that now we can offer the client a projector that comes close to the DPI's Titan (the DPI's flagship 3 chip projector that used to sell for $45k) quality for $20k less.

What features would you like to see changed or added?
I would like to see 3D added for this projector and see cable management door on the side or in the back where we cannot see the cables. Also try to reduce the Blue light shining from projector, it is little too bright!
